I'm a Portland-based photographer with a thing for quiet moments and warm light.
Just Before is named for my favorite films, the Before trilogy. They're about authentic connection, and about how love grows and changes over time. What I love most is how fully they live in the moment, and how that makes the moment feel precious, because you know it's already slipping into memory.
That's what I bring to my work. I photograph individual and group portraits: solo sessions, couples, friends, families. I'm not after the posed, perfect frame. I'm after the one where you forget I'm there. I shoot in warm, nostalgic tones so your photos feel the way memories do: glowing, a little soft at the edges, worth returning to years from now.
I grew up in Oregon, and the Gorge, Cannon Beach, and Bend taught me to slow down and notice the light. Those places still shape how I see, and I'm always happy to shoot there.
